Re pointing 180m2 Chelsea (riverside)
Date: Feb 2009
Location: Chelsea Wharf
Duration: 3 Weeks.
Re pointing of a soon to be dangerous elevation, re bedding of capping stones.

Chelsea Wharf is situated on the River Thames with one elevation falling directly into the river. Initially we attended site to complete a small bit of stone work to allow windows to be opened freely for the business occupants, once over the edge it became apparent that some extensive re pointing works needed to occur to prevent serious problems in the future. We offered our services to complete a survey and report back our findings and offer a cost effective solution. Granby Martin accepted our quotations and Extreme Access carried out over 100m2 of re pointing.
Because our form of access has such huge financial benefits our services were further requested to complete the window refurbishment of 12 Crittle windows and the re painting of the rendered areas situated on the southern elevation over the Thames. It would have been remarkably awkward and costly to erect any access platforms in this area.
All works were completed to the highest standard and zero disruption to all business residents. We have since acquired further work on this site and have a yearly window cleaning contract.
